Andrea Marie Smith

Andrea will forever be missed by her parents Thomas Charles Smith and Mary Ann Frances Smith (nee Primerano), and her sisters Michelle and Heather Smith.

Her family would like to thank the staff at Transwell group home and Bridgepoint Active Healthcare for their ongoing compassionate care of Andrea. Thank you to the staff at St. Michael's Hospital (Medical Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MSICU) who provided her with outstanding care and support and The Trillium Foundation for allowing Andrea to donate organs and better the lives of others.

Andrea was an example of pure grace in adversity and positivity in the most difficult of circumstances. Throughout the many illnesses she experienced during her lifetime, she always found a way to smile. Even without speech, she found a way to give joy to others. Her family will always remember and cherish the example she set and recall how her smile lit up a room.

Visitation will be held at R.S. Kane Funeral Home, 6150 Yonge St, North York, ON, on Sunday, February 10 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm, with funeral service on Monday, February 11, at 1:30pm, reception to follow. Donations to the Three Wishes Project at St. Michael's Hospital would be greatly appreciated by the family.
