"Bert" John-Passed away peacefully on January 27, 2010 at Lennox and Addington County General Hospital at the age of 81. Loving husband of Sheila and loving father of Al(Valerie) and Karen(Ian Richardson). Will be sadly missed by grandchildren Chris, Paul, Laura, Leslie, Wesley and Emily. Friends may call on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles). A Prayer Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society or Canadian Cancer Society.
