VEGA, Carmen Julia, 85, passed away on August 5, 2012 in Tampa, FL. She is survived by her daughters Carmen I. Diaz (Luis), Nayda I. Cartagena, and Irma N. Cardoso (Bernardo); grandchildren Lisa, Eric, Jeanne, David, Christina, Steven, and Melissa as well as great grandchildren Michael, Emily, Adrian, Samantha, Olivia, Austin, and Elijah. A funeral mass will be held at St. Paul Catholic Church on Friday August 10, 2012 at 10AM with a visitation at the church one hour prior. Interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens in Thonotosassa, FL. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations in Carmen's name to the Alzheimer's Association, Florida Gulf Coast Chapter, 14010 Roosevelt Blvd Suite 709, Clearwater FL 33762.
