She was born October 5, 1934 in Darlington, SC to the late John Clifton and Betty Cassidy Flowers.
Wilma is preceded in death by her husband George Roy Lewis; a son, David Lewis and brother-in-law, Henry Brewer.
She is survived by sons, Billy Lewis and partner Wanda Davis, Tony Lewis and wife Candi, Roy Lewis; daughter, Susan Viola Horne; sisters, Virginia
Crowley and husband Hubert, Louise Brewer , Alma Blackmon, Annie Barber and husband Arthur; grandchildren,, Wilma Horne, Preston Lewis, Heather Lewis, Megan Lewis, Dylan Fox, Noah Fox; great grandchildren, Tamsyn Lewis and Thomas Lewis.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 2:00 PM on Tuesday April 17, 2011 at Thomasville Funeral Home; a Chapel Service will follow at 2:00 PM with Reverend Alan Green officiating, followed by interment in Holly Hill Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
