Willie Ethel Harmon

Willie Ethel Harmon, 78, passed away Friday, November 6, 2020 at her granddaughter's home following several years of declining health.

Willie was born in Chatham County, December 13, 1941, a daughter of the late Willie Edward Harmon and Tillie Floyd Collins Harmon. She retired from Phillip Morris Tobacco Company after many years of service.

Willie enjoyed taking cruises and shopping. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Sandra Gales Lambeth and five siblings, Carley Collins, Hubert Collins, Ruby Davis, Virginia Heath and Josephine Clemmons.

Surviving are a son, Bobby Gales, Jr. and his wife Ann; five grandchildren, Bobby Gales III and his wife Jerri, Jessica Nickels and her husband Chris, Mary Gales, Jason Lambeth and his wife Tiffany and Brooke Lambeth; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Lema Lewter and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at Holly Hill Memorial Park Tuesday, November 10 at 1 p.m. by Pastor Jason Craver and Pastor Dan Parr. Memorials may be directed to Southside Baptist Church, Thomasville.
