Born on September 25, 1936 to Lon and Myrtle Lucas in Carter County Kentucky.
Preceded in death by his parents and brothers; Virgil and Curtis Lucas and sisters Earlene Clark and Violet Rabon.
Ronald served during the Viet Nam war. He was a loving husband and father for 45 years, adoring grandfather and great grandfather also a member of the Thomasville Moose Lodge for 25 years, He loved to garden and share his harvest with others.
Survived by his loving wife Jeannette Tussey Lucas of the home, son Ronald Howard Lucas of Thomasville, daughters Sherry Mc Clamrock and her husband Randy, Lisa Ford and her husband Curtis, Christy Lucas all of Thomasville, brothers Jake Lucas of Thomasville, Walt Lucas and his wife Peggy of Thomasville, Roger Lucas of Mebane, Tom Lucas and his wife Dee of High Point, sisters Peggy Easter and her husband Pal of Circleville, OH, Myrtle Le Master and her husband Phillip of Grayson, KY , Emma Tackett and her husband Clarence of High Point also 5 grandchildren and 2 Great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 P.M. on Sunday November 27, 2011 at Thomasville Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2P.M. on Monday November 28, 2011 in funeral home chapel with Reverend Randy Strong officiating followed by interment in Holly Hill Memorial Park.
