Ray Callahan

Ray Callahan, age 86, of Thomasville, NC, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at High Point Regional Hospital. He was born in Surry Co., NC, on December 1, 1936, the son of the late Henry Clark Callahan and Stella Frances Greenwood Callahan.

He worked at Dixie Furniture in Asheboro as a finisher. In his free time, he enjoyed working puzzles and listening to bluegrass music. He also loved fishing and going to auctions.

Ray is survived by his sister, Nancy Carpenter (William); nephews, Michael and Arnold Callahan; and several nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents.

No services will be held at this time.
