Randall (Randy) Bryant Harris

Mr. Randall Bryant “Randy” Harris, 60, a resident of High Point, passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014 at High Point Regional Hospital.

A resident of this area all of his life, Randy was born on January 19, 1954 to the late Al Bryant and Ramona Rhodes Harris. He was of the Methodist faith and a proud grandfather. He especially enjoyed watching NASCAR, vegetable gardening, and playing basketball, having formerly played for Andrews High School in High Point. He was also an avid UNC Tar Heel fan.

Surviving is his daughter, Carrie Harris of New London, NC; sister, Jill Wilson and her husband Tom of Kernersville; and three grandchildren, Jeremiah Harris, Gabriel Harris, and Christian Maldonado; and two nieces, Rachel and Sarah Wilson and two nephews, Thomas and Andrew Wilson. Also surviving is his former wife, Anne Maynard and special cousin Hattie Hedgecock.

A celebration of Randy’s life will be held at 3pm Thursday in the chapel of Thomasville Funeral Home, 18 Randolph Street, with Reverend Jason Poe officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
