Juanita Bean Mowery

A Gathering of Friends was held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 at Pentecostals of Denton by Pastor Ronnie Timmons.

Mrs. Mowery was born September 23, 1952 to the late Harris and Pauline Owen. She was preceded in death by both parents and a brother Mozelle Owen.

She was a prior employee of Councill Craftsmen which is now Councill Company for 15 years and later employed by Davidson County Schools as a bus driver for 7 years.

Juanita enjoyed gardening and spending time outdoors under a shade tree during the summer. During the winter months she loved to watch her birds through the window.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Charles “Fitz” Mowery of Denton, NC; sons, Chad Bean and wife Regina and Dale Bean; grandsons, Chad Bean of Ramseur, NC, Chase and Braydon Newton of Murphy, NC; granddaughter, Elizabeth Bean of Murphy, NC; Audrey Hughs of Denton, NC; great grandchildren, Eli, Tanner and Liam; sisters, Paulette Potts of Denton, NC, Pearl Morrow and husband Sherman of Murphy, NC; brothers David Owen and wife Janice and Terry Owen, both of Southmont, NC.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Hinkle Hospice of Davidson County in memory of Juanita are greatly appreciated.
