Joyce Patricia Jackson

Joyce was a longtime member of Liberty Baptist Church. She loved gardening, shopping and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.

Joyce is survived by her son Michael Craig Smoot and wife Penny; two grandchildren, Andrew Huffstetler and wife Courtney, Corey Dale Jones Smoot; two great grandchildren, Andrew Jr and Melody; three sisters, Mary Sage and husband Randy, Louise Virginia Hunt, Kay Dickens and husband Charles; one brother Johnny Hunt and wife Myra; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, her husband Robert “Bobby” Jackson, three brothers and one sister preceded her in death.

A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Sechrest-Davis Funerals and Cremations, 18 Randolph, Thomasville, NC 27360, on Thursday, September 9, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Thomasville.

The family will greet friends on Wednesday, September 8th, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
