Jerry was born February 3, 1941 in Davidson County to the late Hubert and Mamie Hughes Tucker.
He was preceded in death by a son, Aaron Tucker; brothers, Robert Tucker, Melvin Tucker, Odell Tucker, Cletus Tucker; and a sister, Jacqueline Hughes.
Jerry is survived by his beloved wife Reva of the home; son, Stephen Tucker and wife Peggy of Winston-Salem; daughters, Vickie Jewell of Iowa, Dena Summey of Trinity, Lakita Bazzle and husband Rob of King Mountain; grandchildren, Megan Summey, John Jewell, Cortni Bazzle, Andrew Summey, Stephanie Jewell; great grandchildren, Kiley Jewell, Charety Jewell, Jenna Jewell, Aryana Jewell, Scarlett Jewell; brothers, James Tucker, Sr., David Tucker; sisters, Polly Coppley and Gail Bailey.
The family will receive friends Thursday, June 28, 2012 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Thomasville Funeral Home. An 11:00 am Church Service will be held Friday, June 29th at The True Church of God in Thomasville followed with interment at Floral Garden Memorial Park in High Point.
