Darlene R. Hatton, age 74, peacefully passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at Hinkle Hospice House surrounded by family and friends.
Darlene was born in Marion County, SC, July 7, 1950, a daughter of the late Mable S. Rogers and Rommie F. Rogers. She attended Thomasville High School as well as Ventura County Community College. Darlene was a retired deli manager with Food Lion. She was a faithful member of Colonial Baptist Church and a friend, mother and grandmother to anyone in need! Darlene was preceded in death by her siblings, Bobby Horne, Frank Rogers, Harold Rogers, Phyllis Collins.
Surviving are her husband of 37 years, Jerry L. Hatton; three sons, Ray Boyet, Wayne Woods, Jr. and Alan Hatton (Michelle); a daughter, Beth Jardon (Marc); two sisters, Gloria Briles (Lee) and Suzanne R. Martinez. Darlene was blessed with numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Darlene's life will be held Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at 2 p.m. at Colonial Baptist Church by Rev. Mark Hollar and Rev. Mack Hutson. Burial will follow in Holly Hill Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church Wednesday from 1 until 2 p.m.
