Buddy Daniel Simmons

Buddy loved going to the beach, watching NASCAR, and fishing, but his greatest love was spending time with his family. He attended Full Gospel Freewill Holiness Church in Thomasville.

Buddy is survived by his three children, Stephanie Johnson husband Josh, Nikki Owens husband Brian, and Daniel Simmons wife Courtney, all of Thomasville; grandchildren, Mason Griffin (Meghan), Aamon Burchett, Reagan Burchett, Brooklyn Simmons, Levi Owens, Logan Owens, Braxton Simmons and Liam Wall; great grandchildren, Lucas and Lawson Griffin; sisters, Betty Jean Fowler (Ed), and Sis Roberts; and sisters-in-law, Armett Simmons, and Kathy Hall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Ryan Simmons; eight brothers, Boo, Ninner, Ring Eye, Hal, Hoppy, Paul, Baby, and Billy Joe; and one sister, Princess Anne Tigner.

A funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Sechrest-Davis Funerals and Cremations, 18 Randolph St., Thomasville, NC 27360 on Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park.

In addition to flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont at 1801 Westchester Dr., High Point, NC 27262.
