The light stopped shining on April 10th, 2022 as Taylor Steiner passed away peacefully in his sleep. Too young and too full of life, he will be missed immensely by his family and friends. Taylor was 31 years young.
Taylor lived life big and he loved fiercely, if you were his people.
Taylor spent many summers and vacations in Michigan, fishing on Hamlin Lake, it was his favorite place to be. He graduated high school in 2009 alongside his high school sweetheart, now wife, Taylor Brooke. They have been inseparable since their sophomore year, spending over half of their lives loving each other, growing up together, learning how to adult together and making a lifetime of memories. They were known by many as "He-Taylor" and “She-Taylor”, “Taylor Boy” and “Taylor Girl” or "Tsquared" and "T-Rex". In 2020, they married in a magical service at Camp Lucy, she waited 11 long years, but it was a day worth waiting for. Taylor was a loving and devoted husband.
The last decade, Taylor has worked in construction, building homes across the Houston area. He was a hard worker, a leader, a mentor and the jokester. He always kept everyone on their toes, never knowing when the next prank or joke would come.
In his free time, Taylor loved to fish, hunt, watch UFC and was a softy for rescuing stray dogs. The ones he couldn’t save he would always stop and feed. Taylor had a heart of pure gold, that is how Elsa and Olaf got their forever home. “They hit the jackpot,” as Taylor would say.
His smile was captivating, his laugh was contagious, and his whit was maddening and hilarious all at the same time.
Taylor was an amazing son, always checking to make sure his mom was ok and taken care of.
He was the epitome of “the baby brother”, he was spoiled, fun, full of life, determined and the true patriarch of the family. Always demanding holidays be spent a certain way and always together.
He was the best Uncle Bobo to his 2 nieces that literally think he hung the moon.
He was a best friend turned brother to a few really lucky guys. He had his people and he loved his people hard.
The world is not a brighter place without you Taylor. As we learn to breathe again and learn to seek light, this isn’t goodbye, it’s just see you later.
