She was born in Sharon, Pennsylvania on March 2, 1943, and graduated from Sharpville High School. On June 3, 1963, she was married to Lt. Col. W.N. Satterwhite. Stephanie was a homemaker, military wife, and teacher. She had a passion for holidays, entertaining, travel, and her pets, but, first and foremost, she was a devoted wife and mother.
Stephanie was preceded in death by her adored husband, Neal Satterwhite, and her cherished son, Stephen Satterwhite. She is survived by her daughter, Cambria Darbison and son-in-law, Kevin; and sisters, Christine Wegner, Mary Griffen, and Barbara Cortese.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2016, at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home, 18000 I-45 South, The Woodlands, Texas, 77384. The gathering will begin with a prayer and an invitation to share reflections on Stephanie’s life.
