Patrick developed lasting friendships throughout two fulfilling careers. As a U.S. Army Chief Warrant Officer II, he was an aviator, flying the coastline areas of northern Washington State and Alaska until retirement. Soon after, he relocated to Houston, Texas where he would start a family. After graduating from UTSA, with a Business Degree in Marketing, he went on to become an Executive Vice-President for The John Wood Group, until retirement in 2016.
He will always be known by his cheerful attitude and radiant smile. Patrick was a wonderful fun-loving husband, dad, and grandfather. As a family, they shared a love for coastal living, taking memorable trips to Galveston Beach to unwind in the salt air and rekindle the magic that comes from having such a diverse, unique, and loving family. His family came to visit every Sunday without fail to shower him with love over dinner and ‘game-night’.
Ranked throughout his military career as a skilled marksman who was admired on the range. His "candy bar" trophy collection was an evident reminder of his gift. He brought the love of range-shooting to his entire family.
His life is characterized by spirituality, courage, sincerity, wisdom, and honesty; and from a life of serving others. He was a loving devoted husband to wife Martha. Together they did their best to model marital love. He was Martha's best-friend and wise confidant.
His parochial school education established strong roots of faith, love and charity that guided him well throughout his life. Patrick was active at his parish of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church within the ACTS community. He was an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, and a Fourth Degree Knight with The Knights of Columbus. He and his brother knights held a virtual rosary that started as a devotion during covid that endures today.
Patrick was passionate about prison-rehabilitation. He enjoyed helping men reenter society through halfway house programs in and around Houston. He received his greatest calling teaming with Kolbe Prison Ministry at St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. He was proud to aid in delivering the message of Jesus Christs’ redemptive love for all. After receiving a late-stage cancer diagnosis, he could often be found in his office writing letters of faith hope and love to incarcerated men.
Patrick, you are no longer suffering. You are at peace in the Eternal Kingdom of God where we hope to see you again with our Lord, Jesus. You will forever be remembered by all who knew and loved you.
