Larry Wayne Wilson passed away on October 1, 2024, at the age of 85 in Conroe, Texas. Born on September 22, 1939, Larry was known for his loyalty and honesty, traits that endeared him to many throughout his life.
Larry grew up in Marlin, Texas where he attended Marlin Elementary and Marlin High School. He furthered his education at Texas Tech University, laying a foundation for a distinguished career. Larry proudly served in the Army, a commitment that reflected his dedication and discipline. After his military service, he embarked on a professional journey with Hartford Insurance, where he dedicated 42 years before retiring.
He leaves behind his wife, Wanda, and sons, David and Michael, and a sister in Oregon. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Willie Wilson.
Larry will be remembered not only for his professional and military contributions but also for the honest and loyal life he led. His memory will be cherished by those who knew him.
There will be a Celebration of Life Gathering at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home on Monday, October 21, 2024 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
