She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Margaret (Phillips) Purswell, her sister Peggy, and brother Phillip. She is survived by her husband of over 20 years, Don Anderson, son Brian and Leigh Ann Reese, and daughter-in-law Jennifer (Anderson) and Curtis Tausworthe, and granddaughter Rachel Reese and grandson Brennan Tausworthe; and her very special sister Nancy Lowery, and host of other relatives and friends.
Jeanne worked in the medical software business starting in sales and rose to Vice President of operations for over 20 years. After a short-lived retirement in China, Jeanne took on another full-time challenge battling multicentric Castleman’s cancer for over 17 years. During this difficult battle Cathy Gregson and Ana Gomez were her dedicated and loving caretakers and friends. She was also blessed with loving care from the nurses at Allumine hospice care team. Our family will forever be grateful for these special people who were dedicated to her care.
Jeanne proudly loved her family and her country. No matter what Jeanne was doing, you could always be assured it was being done with extreme pride, dedication, and attention to detail. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother (Mi Mi), and friend to so many. She passionately loved her dogs who often times could be found in the bed with her. She had a special place in her heart for animals and supported many pets in need. She loved to travel and share in life’s pleasures and adventures. Jeanne, will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
