We are sad to announce the passing of Edith Maria Jiménez Rubiano de Cortes, 80 years old, who passed away in the Houston Methodist the Woodlands Hospital on July 22nd of 2023 after a sudden illness. Edith was a generous person who spread joy and happiness through her heartfelt gifts. We will miss her very much. “6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. 7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. 8 And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work”. Services for Edith will be Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Forest Park The Woodlands Funeral Home located at 18000 I-45 South, The Woodlands, Texas 77384. The family will begin receiving friends at 1:00 p.m. in the Grand Hall with the service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Ftr. Kailas Hivale will officiate. Following the service, the family invites you to stay and join them for a reception in the R.L. Wood Room.
