Mary Lou Swan, 84, of Dallas, TX passed away August 17, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Swan was born October 10, 1930 in Texarkana, AR. She was a former member of Dudley Avenue Church of Christ; member of Valley Creek Church of Christ in Mesquite, TX; she was long term employee of Southwest Transportation Company/Southern Pacific Railroad.
Survivors include her sons, David Swan of Davenport, IA, Joe Swan and Steven Swan both of Dallas, TX; sister, Dorothy Singletary of Carrollton, TX; grandchildren, Brian Swan of Dallas, TX, Nickalaus Swan of Boston, MA, Stacie Carbenas and her husband, Jaun of Dallas, TX, Michael Tyler of U. S. Navy, Japan and Michelle Tyler of Houston, TX; niece, Dotti Franz and her husband, Charley of Carrollton, TX and nephew, Ed Singletary of Clovis, NM.
Graveside service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, August 22, 2015 at East Memorial Gardens with Brother Chris Hooten officiating. Burial is under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
