Lloyd Lynn Click, 86, of Texarkana, Texas died July 13, 2012 at his home. He was born August 3, 1925 to William and Lennie Chisum Click in Mineral Springs, Arkansas. He was raised by his aunt and uncle, Thomas George and Charlie Bevil Click in Texarkana, Texas.
Mr. Click is survived by his wife, Mary Clark Click and two daughters, Dorothy Ann Garrison of Red Lick, Texas and Pede Fraser and husband Bo of Little Gasparilla Island, Florida; two grandsons Tom Garrison and wife Andrea of Ames, Iowa and Dan Garrison and wife Tracey of Houston, Texas.
A long time member of Highland Park Baptist Church, Mr. Click also served as a deacon in the church. Mr. Click was in several major battles in Europe as part of the 82nd Airborne Division during World War II. He was a member of the American Legion, Masonic Lodge and Kiwanis.
Mr. Click's career path included time as an assistant county agent, lumber salesman, realtor and real estate appraiser. Recreationally, he most enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Monday, July 16, 2012 at Highland Park Baptist Church, 2401 hazel Street, Texarkana, Texas with Pastor Kevin Myers officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Sunday, July 15, 2012 at East Funeral Home, 602 Olive St., Texarkana, Texas 75501.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Highland Park Baptist Church.
