A proud graduate of Idabel High School in Idabel, Oklahoma, Judy began her career as a professional hairdresser before pursuing a nursing degree. She graduated from Texarkana Community College as a Licensed Practical Nurse, later becoming a Registered Nurse. Judy was well-known at Wadley Regional Hospital, where she worked in the Emergency Room for many years and made a lasting impact on her patients and colleagues. Her career path later led her to HealthSouth, where she worked as a Nurse Liaison.
Judy will always be remembered for her "spitfire" personality—her witty, comical nature and her quick sense of humor that brightened every room she entered. Whether she was enjoying a CocaCola (which was always closely guarded), or offering her advice with a laugh, Judy was a force to be reckoned with and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
