Joe E. Ward

Joe E. Ward, age 82, of Texarkana, Arkansas passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. He was born on March 23,1942 in Ogden, AR. Mr. Ward was a member of Ogden Baptist church, Ogden, AR and was attending Hickory Street Baptist, a veteran of the U S Navy and was retired from Cooper Tire Company.He was also a member of Arkansas Elks 399.

He is preceded in death by his wife Betty Jo Ward.

Survivors include two sons and daughter-in-law, William Robert Ward of Ashdown,AR and Bruce Edward and Angela Leigh Ward of Texarkana, AR; six grandchildren, Kerri Sullivent, Carolan Cole, Karlie Ward, Lane Ward, Samantha Ward and Coy Ward; four sisters-in-law, Barbara Baze of Sherman, TX, Billie Jean Morrow of Texarkana, AR, Brenda Musgrove of Texarkana, TX and Berniece Wilson of Texarkana, TX and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service will be 10am Friday, December 13, 2024 at East Memorial Chapel-Downtown.

Burial will be in Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.

Family will receive friends from 6pm to 8pm Thursday, December 12, 2024 at the funeral home.
