Jason "Jay" Austin Fricks, age 57, of Texarkana, Arkansas passed away on Friday, June 2, 2023 peacefully at his home. He was born in Texarkana, TX. on June 23, 1965. He was a proud co-owner of Fricks Butane in Texarkana, AR. He was an avid Razorback fan and also loved hunting and fishing and most of all spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents E.J. and Gloria Fricks.
He is survived by his wife Melissa Fricks; two daughters Haleigh Rice and Gloria Fricks; one son and daughter-in-law Hunter and Allie Cox; two brothers and sisters-in-law Clay and Maryann Fricks and Glenn and Phyllis Fricks; three grandchildren Sophia, Gabriel and Carter. Father-in-law Hayden Coe. Numerous other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Memorial service will be 11:00 am Saturday, June 10, 2023 at East Funeral Home-Downtown.
