He was born on October 27, 1925 in Texarkana, TX. Mr. Nettles was veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in WWII.
He was preceded in death by his wife Flora Nettles and a son James Harold Nettles, Jr.
He is survived by nephews Donnie and his wife Joellen Haire of Redlick, TX and Gary Robken of Waco, TX;niece Gwen Welchel of Redwater, TX cousins, Larry Fountain of Nash, TX, Steve Fountain of Dallas, TX and Tommy Fountain of Houston, TX; ; sister-in-law, Anita Nuckels of Austin, TX and a number of other great nieces.
Memorial graveside will be 11am Saturday,June 7, 2014 at Hillcrest Memorial Park under the direction of East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.
In lieu of flowers family ask that memorials be made to Hardy Memorial United Methodist Church, Texarkana, TX.
