Hazel A. Laney, 90, of Texarkana, AR passed away July 24, 2013 at her home. Mrs. Laney was born October 16, 1922 in Miller County, AR. She was retired from City Bakery and was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Ray “Buster” Laney; and one granddaughter, Ramona Denise Ball.
Survivors include her three daughters, Martha Jo Laney of Texarkana, AR, Eleanor Raye West of Memphis, TX and Elaine Simpson of San Antonia, TX; one son, Boyce Laney of Texarkana, AR; two grandchildren, Roger West of Memphis, TX and Beth Messick of Pan Handle, TX; 4 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Services will be 2 p.m., Friday, July 26, 2013 at East Memorial Chapel – Downtown. Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home – Downtown.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 25, 2013 at the funeral home.
