Dorothy Nell Gill

Dorothy Nell Gill, 73, of Texarkana, TX passed away May 11, 2016 in a local hospital. Mrs. Gill was born December 8, 1942 in Phoenix, AZ. She was a member of Buchanan First Baptist Church - choir, Sunday School, and VBS. She was a volunteer for Hospice of Texarkana where she was "Volunteer of the Year" several years ago. She touched many peoples lives with he "Cross Penny" ministry.

Survivors include her husband, Ed Gill of Texarkana, TX; her daughters, Tina Singletary of Crystal Springs, MS, Nicia Syverson of Wiggins, MS, Hope Chanpuang of Biloxi, MS, Tamara Deshazor of Las Vegas, NV and Sandra Massengale of Tampa, FL and sons, Danny Breland of Texarkana, TX and John Gill of Mt. Jackson, VA.: 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren

Service will be 11 a.m., Friday, May 13, 2016 at East Memorial Chapel - Downtown with Rev. Don Brazile officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.

Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, May 12, 2016 at the funeral home.
