Cynthia Jane Fleming

Cynthia Jane Fleming, 81, of Texarkana, TX passed away at home on November 16, 2017. Mrs. Fleming was born August 14, 1936 in Memphis, TN. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Member of the Order of the Eastern Star-Chapter #700, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society and long time Girl Scout leader. Mrs. Fleming was a member of Red Springs Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Ruth Garner, two brothers, Pat and Jon Garner, daughter, Bianca Baird, and great-grandson, Liam Hamilton.

Survived by loving husband, George W. Fleming, son and daughter-in-law, Steve & Teresa Fleming, daughter and son-in-law, Joaquita "Kita" & Tony Welch. Grandchildren, Nicole Koch & husband, Billy Koch, Brian Baird, Derrick "Wade" Hamilton & wife, Nikki Hamilton, Eric Fleming & wife, Heidi Fleming, and Veronica Baird. Great-grandchildren, Joe Avery Ruiz, Raquel Ruiz, Jaylin Hamilton, Kelby Koch, Christian Garza, Avery Fleming, Samuel Koch, Thomas Koch, and Lily Belle Norrid.

Funeral service will be 2 P.M. Monday, November 20, 2017 at East Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow at Chapelwood Memorial Gardens.

Family will receive friends Sunday, from 4 to 6 P.M. at East Funeral Home-Downtown.
