Courtney Renee Ward

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved sweet daughter. Courtney Renee Ward, 33, in Texarkana Arkansas passed away from life and into the arms of our Heavenly Father on Tuesday September 12, 2023. Courtney had such a big heart and could make a friend anywhere she went.

In her spare time she took pleasure trying to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ on Facebook and making video messages full of scriptures. Those left to cherish her memory are her parents Tonya Ward, Sam Ward, and her stepfather Ronny Lindsey. Siblings: Morgan Ward, Maranda Ward, Robin Dozier, Ronald Dale Lindsey, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents J.N. Lee and Geraldine Lee, brother Steven Ray Lee, uncle Johnny Lee, Aunt Debra Diane Robins; great grandparents Emerson Ray Barnes, and Beulah Mae Barnes.

Funeral service will be 2pm Saturday, October 28, 2023 at East Memorial Chapel-Downtown with Rev. Willie John Matthews, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home-Downtown.

Family will receive friends from 1pm to 2pm on Saturday prior to the service.
