Bill (William D.) Stone, 83, of Wake Village, TX passed away September 2, 2015 in a local hospital. Mr. Stone was born January 21, 1932 in Hughes Springs, TX. He was a U. S. Air Force veteran of the Korean war; member of the Second Time Around Band and Northern Hills Baptist Church. He was owner and photographer of Deluxe Studio and after he retired he worked for American Classifieds and Four States Living Magazine.
He was preceded in death by his son, Kenny Stone.
Survivors include his wife, Caren Reavis Stone of Wake Village, TX; sons, Tommy Stone of Russellville, AR and Rodney Stone of Maud, TX; daughter, Kimberly Stone McMurry of Texarkana, TX; stepson, Earl F. Rogers, III of Rison, AR; stepdaughter, Amy Rogers Goodman of DesArc, AR; 14 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren and other relatives.
Memorial graveside service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, September 5, 2015 Hillcrest Memorial Park with Rev. Kyle Elkins officiating. Services are under the direction of East Funeral Home - Downtown.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, September 4, 2015 at 1030 Louise Lane, Wake Village, TX.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Northern Hills Baptist Church.
