Trudy is survived by her sons, Eric Long and wife, Leslie, and Casey Wright, all of Terre Haute; grandchildren, Lori Long and fiance, David Campbell, Dominic Long, and Tegan Long; and mother-in-law, Mary Long. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Alfred "Bud" DeWitt, Jr.
Trudy worked as a nurse for over 30 years. She worked at Meadows Manor North, Meadows Manor East, Southwood, Exceptional Living Center, Putnamville Correctional Facility, and several other places around the Wabash Valley. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 5 at Burnett Church.
