Reba Elizabeth Erickson, 98, of Columbus, and formerly of Terre Haute, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 25, 2014, at Keepsake Village in Columbus. She was born on Aug. 6, 1916, in Farmersburg, to Ray and Bonnie (McCrocklin) Cushman. Reba worked for many years as an office manager for Eastern Express Trucking and as a housing manager for Garfield Gardens and Towers. She enjoyed reading and shopping. Reba’s passion was volunteering. She donated her time to help others whenever she got the chance. She will be truly missed.
Reba is survived by her daughter, Marsha Ross and husband Rick of Columbus; granddaughter, Loree Funk and husband Tim of Tucson, Ariz.; great-grandchildren, Austin Brothers and Caden Funk; and a niece, Jayliene Higgins of Jeffersonville, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, James Paul Erickson; and a sister, Erma Davis.
