Patsy L Bedwell

Patsy Lee Carol Bedwell of Terre Haute, passed away November 12, 2024 at the age of 88. Patsy was born in Terre Haute December of 1935 to Jules and Elanor Nens. She attended and graduated from Valley High in 1953. For work Patsy was employed at a couple of tux shops before switching careers to work in the Honey Creek school cafeteria. She enjoyed shopping, gambling with her sister Mary Lou, until her time of passing last December, and then her niece Debbie stepped in to fill that void. As Patsy would say Debbie was the "closest thing she had to her sister". Patsy was married to "two great men". She was first married to Ralph Horton in 1953 until his death in 1977. Her second marriage was to Charles Bedwell in 1981 until his death 2007. Patsy is survived by her son Kevin Horton Sr.; brother John Nens and his wife Anne; grand-sons Kevin Horton II and his wife Breanna, and Tanner Horton and his wife Kristen; great-grandchildren Laithan, Leigan, Malakai, Kallum, and Tyler Horton. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Ralph, husband Charles, son Gary Horton, brother Leonard Nens, and sister Mary Lou Morris. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2024 from 11AM to 1PM with funeral services at 1PM at Roselawn Funeral Home. Patsy will be entombed following the service at the Roselawn Memorial Park.
