Kathy Barrett

Kathy Anne (Endress) Barrett, 57, of Terre Haute, went home to be with the Lord on Dec. 26, 2015, while surrounded by her family. She was born on Dec. 30, 1957, in Terre Haute, to Donald and Clara (Gasaway) Endress Sr. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Jackie Ray Barrett; children, Stephanie Allen (Tony), Crystal Judy (C.J.) and Steven Barrett; grandchildren, Lorin and Hannah Allen, and Nicholas and Cameron Weir; brothers, Jerry Carter (Charlene), Donald Endress Jr. (Norma) and Brian Endress; sisters, Carol Berry (Bryan), Linda Shaffer (Dennis), Barbara Little and Margaret Elizabeth Endress-Fagg; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. As Kathy and Ray started their journey together, they faced a lot of trials and tribulations. And through it all, they still had a love for each other that was inseparable. Kathy was employed with the Vigo County School Corp. for several years before she became ill. She loved spending time with her family. When she wasn’t doing that, she enjoyed going to bingo and playing on her computer. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her. There will be a celebration of life held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kathy Barrett Fund c/o Terre Haute First Financial Bank.
