Jeanette Alice Jones, age 83, of Rockville, Indiana passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2022.
Nettie was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on May 30, 1939 to Howard Wolfe and Eileen (Liffick) Wolfe.
She is survived by her loving son, Tim Jones and wife Sherry of Rockville; 4 grandchildren; Andrea Jones and Corben Jones of Rockville, Brandie Heller of Florida, and Tim Heller of California; 4 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Lloyd Wolfe and her several nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving friends.
Jeanette was a member of the American Legion Post 104, Auxiliary Post 104, Terre Haute Bowling League, Wabash Valley Four-Wheelers Club, and a long member of the Rockville Christian Church. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards, bowling, and watching her sitcoms. She loved the outdoors and going fishing, camping, and off-roading in Willys jeeps.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Marvin Jones; two children, Levesta Wilson and Robert Jones; her sister, Patricia "Patty" Wolfe; and two brother-in-laws, Larry Jones and Phil Jones (Sandy).
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022 from 4-8pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. Service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 12pm, with a visitation prior to the service from 11-12pm at Roselawn Funeral Home. A graveside will follow after the service at Roselawn Memorial Park, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband and her two children.
