Donald Patrick Herman

Donald ‘Patrick’ Herman, 62, of Terre Haute, IN, passed away on Friday May 26th, 2023. Pat was born on February 10, 1961 at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. Growing up in a military family, he lived in many places as a child but graduated from Terre Haute North Vigo High School in 1978 before joining the military himself. Pat served in the Army from 1978 until 1981 and the Army Reserve from 1981 to 1986, and was honorably discharged as a disabled veteran. It was while serving on active duty in Aschaffenburg Germany that he met his future wife Andrea ‘Andy’. They settled in Terre Haute, IN to raise their family. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Christine Andrea Herman, his children, Stephanie (DJ) Parcus, Brittany (Carson) Wells, his grandchildren, Adam Parcus and Caden Wells, his mother Erma Herman, his brothers Mark Herman, Jim Herman and Dennis Herman and their families. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Herman, and his brother, David Herman. In retirement Pat always held a fondness for cars, tinkering in his garage and enjoying being an Opa. His funeral service will be held Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 1 PM at Roselawn Funeral Home with military honors at the gravesite immediately following.
