Brian Alfred Ross

Brian Alfred Ross, age 51, of West Terre Haute, Indiana passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2024. He was born on February 26, 1973 in Chester, Pennsylvania to Harry Ross and Beverly Aber Obenchain. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved doing anything that involved being outside. There wasn't anything Brian couldn't do or fix. Above all else Brian was a family man. He did everything for his family and loved us beyond measure. He would be the first one there for you and the last one to leave. His presence was enormous, he was larger than life. Brian's love and care for others is why anyone who knew him loved him. Brian was living his dream here in the country. The woods and the wildlife all just brought him so much joy. Brian is preceded by his dad, Harry Ross. He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Bettyann; son, Mason; daughter, Erica; mother, Beverly Obenchain (John); stepmother, Becky Ross; sister, Debbie Gabbard (Kelley); brother, Mark Ross (Kristy); father-in-law, Robert Larison (Loretta), mother-in-law, Gloria Baney (Tom), brother-in-laws, John Osborn (Faye), Jeff Osborn (Sarah), Bob Osborn (Alisha), Willis Dougherty (Lisa); several nieces and nephews; also his very close friends, Tom and Cathy Seiple, Bugg and Kristy Jones, Mark and Tricia Korenkiewicz, Brandon Talley and Nikole Busch-Horan, and Matt Read. Also his special German Shepherds Libby and Sarge. Visitation will be held on July 3, 2024 from 3PM to 6PM at Mattox- Wood Funeral Home.
