Michael Gayle Bramlett

Mr. Bramlett was born on November 9, 1953 in Marlin, Texas to Gaylon Bramlett and Dorothy Ann Davis Bramlett. He attended school in Temple graduating from Temple in 1972. He graduated from Temple Junior College. He worked for HEB in Temple, Gatesville and Belton for over 30 years. He owned and operated Chucks Pea Ridge BBQ in Temple for almost 15 years. He then owned and operated Excel of Texas Home Builders and then worked for Garlyn Shelton Auto Group transporting vehicles all over. Michael loved outdoor activities including boating at the lake as well as camping with grandkids. He also enjoyed car shows. He was a very devoted Christian and loved his church and church family, always lending a helping hand wherever needed. Michael was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Susan Bramlett of Temple; sons, Casey Bramlett and wife Brooke of Derby , Kansas and Stephen Bramlett and wife Amy of Little River/Academy; seven grandchildren, Mackenzie, Carlee, Laina, Ivy, Barrett, Olivia and Warren; a brother, David Bramlett of Killeen; and his mother, Polly Bramlett of Temple.

Memorials may be given in Michael’s name to Taylor’s Valley Baptist Church, Ronald McDonald House of Temple or to the Temple Animal Shelter.

Visitation will be from 10-11:00am Tuesday, prior to the funeral service.
