Melvin Chupik, a beloved husband, brother, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 6th, 2024. Born on May 25, 1942, in Temple, Texas, Melvin was the cherished son of Frank and Ella Chupik. He spent his formative years in the Seaton Community school and graduated from Rogers High School, where he laid the foundation for a life marked by dedication and service.
Melvin proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. National Guard and Army Reserve, embodying the values of duty and commitment. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, and he was a devoted member of the Seaton Brethren Church, where he found community and spiritual fulfillment.
An avid outdoorsman, Melvin had a deep love for hunting and fishing, passions that he shared with family and friends, creating cherished memories that will endure in the hearts of those who knew him.
Melvin leaves behind his beloved wife, whose partnership was a source of strength and joy throughout his life. He is also survived by his brother, three children, who carry forward his legacy of love and integrity, and his grandchildren, who brought immense pride and happiness to his later years.
Melvin Chupik will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his community, and his country. His life was a testament to the values he held dear, and his memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home, with visitation scheduled for Tuesday December 10th from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service to honor and celebrate Melvin's life will be held on Wednesday December 11th at 2 p.m at Seaton Brethren Church.
