A visitation for Jerry will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home, 3220 South 31st Street, Temple, TX 76502. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, October 16, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 3220 South 31st Street, Temple, TX 76502. A graveside service will follow at Greathouse Cemetery, Temple, TX.
Jerry attended the Texas School for the Deaf and worked at Wilson Art. He married his wife Peggy on February 14, 1971.
Jerry is preceded in death by his wife Peggy and his parents.
He is survived by his children, Mike Capell of Temple, Wendy Capell of Temple, Mindy Pena of Rosebud and Joe Capell of Washington, one brother Homer Capell of Lubbock and six grandchildren.
