Henry Charles Roskey was born on January 30, 1938, to Otto Herman Roskey and Maggie Robbins Roskey in Chriesman, Texas.
He received his early education at Chriesman School and graduated from Caldwell High School in Caldwell, Texas. After graduation, he went into the Air Force serving 4 years in the Air Force Air Strategic Command. After his service, he worked 9 years for Shell Oil Co. and then 30 years for Alcoa. While working for Alcoa, Temple became his family’s new home for the past 55 years. During this time, he became a “HUGE” fan of Temple Wildcat Football. He loved going to Friday night games each season ringing his cowbell and yelling “Go BIG Blue”! He supported the Temple Quarterback Club for many years and in many ways, including serving as their president.
He is survived by his wife, Margie Becvar Roskey of 66 years; two daughters, Dois Ann Romich of Austin, Paula Regay Love of Temple, sons-in-laws, Mark Romich, and Kenneth Love; grandsons, Colton Love of Killeen and Caleb Love of College Station, plus numerous nieces, and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 16, 2024, from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Scanio- Harper Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM.
