Doris Ashcraft McNeill

Mrs. McNeill died Sunday in a Temple Care Center.

Mrs. McNeill was born September 26, 1928 to Henry Ashcraft and Lottie Ray Ashcraft. She graduated from Rogers High School. She married Tommy McNeill September 1, 1951 at First United Methodist Church in Rogers. He preceded her in death September 16, 2020. She worked for two years at First State Bank in Rogers; forty one years at Soil Conservation Service in Temple and then worked for ten years at Scott and White Hospital. She was President of American Business Women’s Association Bell Chapter and was President of East Bell County Aggie Moms. She lived in Rogers all of her life and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Temple.

Survivors include her son Ricky McNeill and his wife Brita of Temple; two grandchildren Ryan McNeill and his wife Megan of Temple and Riley McNeill of Temple and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of Temple or to American Legion Post 133.
