Dixie Prebble Stewart

Mrs. Stewart died Tuesday in a Temple Hospital.

Mrs. Stewart was born July 12, 1951 in Temple to Barney Dragoo and Prebble Rosser Dragoo. She graduated from Temple High School in 1969. She married Bruce Stewart July 3, 1971. She worked in the Banking business for over forty years. She worked for Texas Bank and Trust in Temple and retired from Grand Bank in Dallas in 2015. She lived in Denton County for thirty years before recently returning to Temple.

Mrs. Stewart was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Barney (RB) Dragoo, Carlton (Corky) Dragoo, Era Frank Dragoo and sisters Jean Hickman, Corrine Campbell, Elsie Bryant and Joyce Brewster.

Survivors include her husband Bruce Stewart of Temple; three daughters Karen Stewart of Temple, Susie Lewallen of Casper, Wyoming and Prebble Perea of Casper, Wyoming; two sons Bill Hendricks of Casper, Wyoming and Ron Hendricks of San Antonio; one sister Dorothy Bland of Temple; four brothers Daniel Dragoo of Temple, Darrell Dragoo of Temple, James David Dragoo of Troy and Paul Dragoo of Farmers Branch.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM Friday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
