Ben was born and raised in Kenosha, Wisconsin the second son of John and Lynn Lawler Jr. Graduating from Tremper High School and went on to take college courses at UW Parkside. On August 24th, 2002, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Kenosha, Ben married the love of his life, Tammy Goodman. Tammy was his soul mate and best friend. Finding his niche in many facets within the construction industry. His final career choice was his proudest, opening Lawler Contracting Services, LLC with his wife, founded in 2013 and moving the home remodeling business to Georgetown, TX.
Ben is survived by his wife Tammy, sons; Sheamus Lawler, Nickolas, and Austin ( Katelyn) and his grandsons; Braxton, Kamdyn and Kasen, as well as his parents John and Lynn Lawler. He is further survived by his siblings; Jennifer Prey and her sons Carter and Mason; John Lawler III and his children Kaden and Sadie; Katie Wagner (Ted) and their children Katelynn, Meredith and Theodore; Karen (Wayne) Johnson and their children; Corey (Que), Michael, Emily and Ashley and his special girl dog Harper. Ben also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends to cherish his memory.
Ben was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents John and Irene Lawler, his maternal grandparents James Santomier and Gladys Marie Santomier, his mother-in-law Annette Schmidt and his dog daughter Hailey.
A celebration of Ben's life will be held on October 26th, 2024, at Stella Hotel & Ballroom, 5706 8th Ave, Kenosha, Wisconsin 53140 from 12:00 p.m. -3:00 p.m. please come celebrate Bens life and to share your favorite memories.
Ben loved with all his heart, had an amazing charismatic personality, some call him contagious. He loved Jesus, his wife and his family and was a successful business owner. He accomplished so much in his 46 years and touched the hearts of so many. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
We will also be holding a memorial hike at Petrified Springs on October 27th at 1:00pm meeting at parking lot #1 for all that would like to join in to remember Ben and his love for the outdoors.
