Becky Boyd, 80, of Temple died Wednesday, March 7, 2012 at her home. Memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, March 26, 2012 at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Al Krummenacher officiating. Burial will be private. Mrs. Boyd was born on August 9, 1931 in Cincinnati, Ohio to George and Louise Klopp. She majored in Art at the University of New Mexico where she was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. She married Roger E. Boyd and they moved to Temple with their three children in 1970. Mrs. Boyd was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and was a licensed vocational nurse at the VA Hospital and at King's Daughters Hospital in Temple. She held a real estate license in Washington, Colorado, and Texas and was co-owner of Stagecoach Properties in Temple. Becky was an accomplished oil painter specializing in portraits of people and dogs. Survivors include two daughters, Sheryl Boyd and Becky Hubik and her husband Tom all of Austin; son, Roger Phillip Boyd and his wife Susan of The Colony, Texas; granddaughters, Nicole and Caitlin Hubik of Austin; grandsons, Roger Thomas Boyd and Ryan Boyd of The Colony; great-granddaughter, Kambry Boyd.
