Veronica Lee Good, 56, of Hudson, Florida, gained her wings Thursday, May 16, 2019 in Clearwater. She was born September 6, 1962 in Clearwater and was raised by her parents Dan “Papa” Good and Geri “Mamo” Good. She is survived by her daughter and best friend, Lacy Shea Good, of Tampa; her mother, Geri Good; sisters LaRae Coniglione (Ross) and Kim Weber (Joe); brothers Clark Good and Jeff Good (Ana) and 10 nieces and nephews.
Veronica, affectionately known as “Nikki,” was a true Floridian. Raised in Tampa and later relocated back to Clearwater, she loved the beach, spending many days on the sandy shores. Sun-kissed and always smiling, Nikki was often the life of the party, making friends wherever she went – whether in New Port Richey, Punta Gorda or Hudson. Her laughter and smile were infectious, and she always maintained an amazing sense of humor, even during tough times. She never took things too seriously, she loved to cook, was a natural host and had a gift for creativity – holiday decorations and planning theme parties were her forte. A true cat-lover, she found joy in nurturing animals in need. In her recent years, she developed a passion for riding motorcycles and could often be seen in her bandana, braided hair, and leather vest, cruising the open roads with friends. She was a frequent supporter of her community’s charitable causes, none more so than active-duty troops and military veterans. Her devout patriotism, easygoing nature and strong-willed mindset were always on display. A great friend with a heart of gold, Nikki always put others before herself, never expecting anything in return. But above all else, her greatest passion was spending time with her daughter – Nikki’s proudest accomplishment.
A gathering of friends and family will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at the Blount & Curry Terrace Oaks Funeral Home (12690 N. 56th St, Temple Terrace, Florida). Doors will open at 2:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service beginning at 3:00 p.m. Guests are encouraged to wear bright colors in honor of Nikki’s loving and lighthearted spirit.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or the American Cancer Society.
