Born February 21, 1938, in Altoona, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Chrysostom John and Mercedes (Burns) Luckett. She was raised in Montoursville, Pennsylvania and later attended Penn State University. Lisa was a former Marietta, Georgia resident for many years and spent retirement with her husband in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Her career included multiple years in real estate sales with Bonner Realty & Associates as well as retail clothing sales with Coldwater Creek, both in Marietta, Georgia.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her loving husband, Michael George Kavulic, Jr. of 37 years of marriage. She is survived by two daughters; Victoria (and husband Samuel) James, of Vienna, GA; Valerie (and husband Carlos) Lopez of Tampa, FL; and one son Michael (and wife Pam) Kavulic of Hartwell, GA; Eight Grandchildren; Katie (and husband Josh) Eberly; Jessica (and husband Nick) Burleson; Victoria (and husband Tim) Boschmans; C.J. Lopez, Matthew Lopez, Michael Kavulic, Sammy James and Lindy Kavulic; Four Great Grand-Children; Brayden Eberly, Rylan Burleson, Sterling Eberly and Kyler Eberly.
Lisa’s family was her life and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her great joy! She was a devout Irish Catholic who also enjoyed traveling, music, movies and fishing.
The Viewing and Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022 at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church at 9724 Cross Creek Boulevard, Tampa, FL 33647. The Viewing will begin at 10:45 a.m. with the Funeral Mass following at 11:30 a.m. Graveside Service will be held Saturday, May 7, 2022 - 1:00 p.m. at Edgewater – New Smyrna Cemetery located at 700 S. Ridgewood Avenue, Edgewater, FL 32132.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Home at 760 Pollard Boulevard SW, Atlanta, Georgia 30315.
