Joe Vega was born on October 14, 1962 in Lamesa, Texas to Homer & Abelina ( Martinez ) Vega. He passed away unexpectedly on December 30, 2020 in Round Rock, Texas.
He was a jack of all trades and would build anything his sister asked him too. He enjoyed photography & horse back riding and he loved his road trips. He couldn’t wait to get on the road and see all the new adventures that he was about to experience. He loved the mountains and canyon lands. Joe was a devoted Texas Longhorn fan. He had a life long love affair of fried chicken and the Andy Griffith show and wanting to name every pet Blue. Saying we will always remember him by : Hurry it up , we’re burning daylight.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents Homer & Abelina Vega , sister Mary Ann Vega and nephew Daniel Vega. He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years Michelle Vega , sister Francis Gomez ( Paul ) , brothers Richard & wife Lori Vega , Jimmy Vega , son : Anthony & wife Crystal Vega , step daughters: Destiny & husband Josh Stivers , Heather Hernandez & husband Cody Burnett , grandchildren : Sebastian Guerrero , Ariel Vega , Mia Vega , Michael Hernandez , Addison Hernandez and Harrison Burnett. Joe is also survived by numerous nieces , nephews and cousins.
