Abel was a big-hearted person who loved his nieces and nephews and always looked out for them. He enjoyed listening to his old Rock n Roll music and watching football. In his younger years, he loved the outdoors, taking drives through the mountains of Idaho, camping, barbecuing, and fishing. Abel cherished his family and had a special bond with them.
Abel is survived by his sister Lisa Jonse and husband George, as well as nieces and nephews Brian Cazalas, Aaron Cazalas and wife Monica, Angelica Cazalas, Lizz Jonse, Michael Campos and wife Marisa, Michelle Leen and husband Logan, Christy Ruiz and husband Eddie, Rachel Garcia, Jennifer Campos, and Tina Campos. He also adored all his great nieces and nephews.
Abel was preceded in death by his parents, Julio and Minnie Campos, his brother George Campos, his sister Eva García, his brother-in-law José García, his niece Veronica García, his nephew Alex García, his sister-in-law Sondra Fraley Campos, and his grandparents.
He had numerous aunts and uncles and family members who loved him dearly.
Abel attended South Side Elementary and Taylor High School. He worshipped at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
A visitation for Abel will be held at Condra Funeral Home on February 7th, 2024, from 5-7 PM, followed by a Rosary from 7-8 PM. A burial mass will take place at St. Mary's Catholic Church on February 8th, 2024, at 10:00 AM, with burial to follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Brian Cazalas, Aaron Cazalas, Michael Campos, Nate Flores, Niko Flores, and Noah Flores.
Condra Funeral Home in Taylor, Tx is assisting the family with the funeral arrangements.
