He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Helen Lois Wiggs (Spano) (2013).
Bill served his country as a member of the U.S. Navy and the U.S. Marine Corps. He began his career at the Tampa Police Department and became a Special Agent with the State of Florida Law Enforcement Agency in the Division of Alcoholic Beverage and Tobacco in 1967 and retired in 1993.
Bill enjoyed fishing, working in his yard, and traveling to Biloxi, Mississippi with his wife.
He is survived by his granddaughters Kristin (Ben) Yates of Glen Ellyn, Illinois; and Lauren (Kyle) Huss of Naperville, Illinois and five great-grandchildren Alexandra, Logan, Wyatt, Hailey, and William. He is also survived by nieces, Brenda Zayas of Houston, Texas; and Denise Wright of Santa Barbara, California.
Bill will be loved and cherished in our hearts forever. Graveside services will be at a later date at the convenience of the family. The family requests the omission of flowers and donations.
